Our high profile Aberdeen client has an exciting position available for an experienced Buyer to join their team on a permanent basis.
The purpose of the role is to ensure an aligned approach to procurement across the group and be responsible for ensuring a positive and proactive approach to managing all aspects of client contracts.
Duties and responsibilities:
Source and supply goods
Achieve targets and negotiate discounts to enhance profit
Seek new suppliers to enhance supply chain
Ensure queries, customs paperwork etc is provided in a timely manner
Assist with tender pricing to ensure market competitiveness
Ensure systems are up to date at all times
Develop customer relations with new and existing clients
